Goal

Strife's main appeal in the MOBA world was geared towards the more casual player. This required the style to be appealing and inviting, different from how S2 Games promoted Heroes of Newerth.

Execution

The creative director created a harmonious world that helped the designers, artists, and content managers find a cohesive and vibrant world. Everyone on the art team often discussed color schemes, style, and overall aesthetic to maintain consistency.

Challenges

Some challenges involved a lack of knowledge surrounding some architectures that led to miscommunication. These were remedied by getting together, solving the immediate issue, and resolving where the miscommunication happened.
