I was responsible for designing the logo for the first episode of Strife’s single-player mini-adventure featuring Bastion, the boy from Plane of Gael. The process involved multiple iterations and design explorations, with careful attention to maintaining visual alignment with Strife’s existing brand identity. Given that Strife’s logo stood out in the gaming space for its clean and minimal style, I aimed to preserve that distinctive aesthetic while creating a complementary mark for the first episode.
Key challenges faced during the project development
While the feedback process could sometimes be direct and difficult to navigate, it taught me how to separate tone from substance, ensuring I could still identify actionable improvements and refine the work effectively. Overall, this experience helped me develop resilience and reinforced the importance of active listening, allowing me to turn even difficult critiques into productive outcomes.
