S2Games' Marketing Team needed a webpage to accompany the marketing campaign created to reach out to cosplayers attending PAX Prime 2014 in Seattle, Washington. This page would inform cosplayers of the competition, the rules to enter, prizes, and show off previous cosplayer contestants.
This was the first designated webpage to be created for the competition and so there was creative liberty with the aesthetics and design.
Content from the Marketing Department was gathered and organized into sections to figure out if a single page application was the correct solution versus multiple pages.
A single page layout was devised and a color scheme that played off of PAX Prime 2014's brand was chosen while maintaining S2Game's sleek branding.
The Marketing Team had difficulties capturing analytics for how users were landing and navigating the page due to the page's development and architecture. The solution of breaking down the sections into individual pages was reached to more easily link out on social media and the like.
